Do I have a grace period?
This depends on the note of the loan. Most mortgage loan payments have a short grace period after the due date. If your payment is sent after the due date but received before the grace period expires, you will not be charged any late fees and you will not be reported to a credit bureau.
Does Linear refinance?
Linear does not offer refinance loans.
Does the automatic payment have to be paid on my due date?
All payments should be made to Linear before the due date. If the note allows, customer has until the end of designated grace period to make the payment before a late charge is assessed.
How can I authorize a third party to help with me account?
To authorize a third party to act on your behalf, we need a written signed authorization from the person(s) listed on the mortgage/note. First, please download an authorization form by clicking here. Next, please email the form to Wendy@Linearmtg.com. If you are having trouble,

How can I change my name on my account?
To change the name on your account, we need valid documents for
proof such as:
Marriage certificate
Divorce decree
Name change affidavit
Valid ID
Social Security Card
How can I change the mailing address listed on my account?
To change the mailing address on your account, we need a written or verbal request.
Verbal: Call us at 1 (877) 215-2507. Our hours of operation are Mon-Fri 8 AM to 5 PM EST.
Written: Visit the Contact Us page and send us an email. There is a form for you to fill out.
Account Transferred?
The transfer of loan servicing is a common practice in the mortgage industry. The transfer of
servicing your mortgage loan does not affect any terms or conditions of your mortgage instrument. We work closely with the transferring company to ensure that it will be a smooth transaction.
